Who I Am
My journey started on a farm in Kansas and has taken me through a multitude of creative endeavors!
Inspired by the videos I would create with friends growing up, I graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Film and Media Studies.
For twelve years, I worked at the Lawrence Arts Center as a theatre and event technician. As I moved into a senior technician role, I became a prolific lighting designer and sound engineer.
Alongside my theatre adventures, I was also working freelance in the film industry. I’ve worked on feature films, television episodes, documentaries, commercials, and more. I originally focused on the sound department but eventually grew my skills in editing, lighting, camera, and grip.
When COVID-19 shut down the industry, I started a new journey in a corporate role by joining Thrasio, an e-commerce company. As the Content Production Specialist, I created product videos for hundreds of different brands. These included Amazon listing videos, social media content, streaming commercials, and more.
Additionally, in my spare time, I have been directing a docu-series focused on child abuse, titled Not My Father’s Child.
